       About Cottage Canines

Set in Whitwell on the Isle of Wight, Cottage Canines really is a home from home environment for your dog.

As dog owners ourselves we know the importance of feeing relaxed and confident when our dogs are in the care of others.  We believe it is important to work closely with owners and to treat each animal as an individual.

Paul is a qualified and experienced Canine Behaviourist who has worked and trained dogs for many years, both here on the Island and on the Mainland. He works alongside his his wife Laura, a qualified groomer.

Paul makes home visits for both Behavioural Consultations and Puppy Training. This is an important part of the process. The whole family is welcome to join in the training.  Paul also offers written reports as this means you always have something to refer to.

Further training, or programmes of behaviour modification are then carried out in our private outdoor training area or in larger private training fields. Programmes of socialisation include safe and secure contact with chosen dogs in a stress free environment.

Paul demonstrates all training hands-on and uses postive methods at all times.
